Lamborghini delivered the last of its 20, one million euro plus taxes, Reventón cars this week, to a British customer of the official Midlands dealer, Lamborghini Birmingham. "Our client was understandably delighted," said Lamborghini Birmingham sales manager Dominic Mulvey, who accompanied his client to Lamborghini’s Sant’Agata-based factory near Bologna. "Lamborghini’s President and CEO, Stephan Winkelmann, personally presented the Reventón to its new owner who then drove off in his new car."

The price of the new Lamborghini Gallardo Coupé LP560-4 in the UK has been confirmed.  The new car, first shown at Geneva Motor Show in March 2008, replaces the original Gallardo Coupé launched in 2003.  With 40 hp more power than the previous car, enhanced acceleration from 0-62 mph of 3.7 seconds, and a top speed in excess of 200 mph, the new car is priced at £147,330.00 on the road, including NavTrak vehicle tracking system and delivery package.

Thanks to increased power (an additional 10 hp) and a 100 kg reduction in weight, the new range-leading Gallardo Superleggera is even more dynamic than the already very sporty Gallardo. The weight/power ratio of the Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera is only 2.5 kg/hp, putting it in the top lightweights of its class. The Superleggera also has the fastest acceleration in its class. It needs only 3.8 seconds to go from 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph); 0.2 seconds less than the basic model, and boasting speed and grit under various driving conditions.

Automobili Lamborghini will present the passionately developed evolution of the Lamborghini Murciélago Coupé at the 76th International Car Show in Geneva. The new version of this highly successful super-sports car features considerable innovations in terms of body design and mechanics. The House of the Raging Bull has brought back a legendary historical name with the introduction of its Lamborghini Miura Concept car. The Lamborghini Miura Concept will be the first Lamborghini vehicle to be conjured from the pen of Walter de’ Silva, Head of Lamborghini Design. De Silva’s other responsibilities include serving as Head of Design of Audi Group. The talented designer’s idea for the new concept was simple: a retro-inspired look heralding back to one of the auto world’s most famous icons, the legendary Lamborghini Miura.

Two years after the launch of the Coupé version of the Gallardo, Automobili Lamborghini is presenting the new Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder at the Frankfurt Motor Show. This latest addition brings the marque’s range of supercars to four models. The Gallardo Spyder is not just an open-top version of the Coupé, but is a completely new model. It has an attractive new design and a unique system for opening and closing the fabric roof that utilises the engine compartment to store the folded roof.
