At the 2004 edition of the Paris Motor Show, Lamborghini presents the most recent addition to its range - the Murciélago Roadster.With this exceptional supercar the House of the Raging Bull offers, for the first time, three different cars: the Murciélago and Murciélago Roadster, both powered by a 6.2 litre V12 engine with 580 hp, and the Gallardo, with its exclusive 5.0 litre 500 hp ten cylinder engine.
All three cars have four wheel drive and showcase the distinctive attributes of the Lamborghini brand: unquestionably Italian, uncompromising and extreme.
The Murciélago Roadster will be launched in the American market by the end of 2004 and in all other markets, including Europe, at the beginning of next year.
The worldwide success of the Murciélago and the Gallardo will ensure that Automobili Lamborghini ends 2004 with another record. By the end of this year, Lamborghini production, sales and turnover will have increased by over 20% compared to 2003.
To support this increased activity, the Lamborghini dealer network has been strengthened. Automobili Lamborghini now has a presence in 20 countries with more than 60 dealers, a figure which includes those just appointed in new markets such as China - there are now three dealerships operating in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou - and also the recently appointed dealer for Paris, the host city for this Motor Show.
